Close to Home--Alicia

freedom "an opportunity seized is an opportunity earned." Candi said, quite presciently I might add, that all I have are ex-girlfriends. the curse of a player I guess. I've been reflecting on what is it that supreme got me into, whether or not ignorance is truly bliss. look how many men don't know much about the game, but are seemingly happy? then again: are they really happy? are they free? after more reflection, I'd rather know just what it is I find myself embroiled into. on the other side, knowledge does bring pain, but that is preferable to the soma dispensed en masse. I say that to mention this: my relationship with Alicia is at an end, after a year of good times. when I say end, I mean the "boyfriend/girlfriend" stuff. we've been talking of Phoenix recently, where I believe my life will lead me, and that future of us being apart got to her. things broke down. truthfully I wasn't happy either, hadn't been for awhile there, a...

Freedom

I don't know what it means...   I feel an indescribable joy, not fully mental or spiritual in nature.

Pendulum-3/21

The pendulum swings...the principle of rhythm is in full operation.   I wish we didn't have to play this game with each other. Man/woman, just direct & upfront. A beautiful ideal. But, this is the arena we find ourselves in.   Keep moving.

Well-3/21/14

The game? Can take a woman out, for a good night of jazz and food, but its never enough.   Its either my happiness or hers it seems. No in between.   Post-   Its nobody's fault that things went this way. Just has to do with bad training...things not realized on my part.

great day, St. Patrick's Day.

I haven't updated this since late September, oddly, but anyway, my Saturday was great, one of the best days of my life. 3/15 I delivered my speech on the Early Irish in America, and it was truly a culmination of my effort over the previous few weeks. from writing it to practicing it, it came out nearly flawless, as I had memorized the whole thing and didn't need to use notes. the crowd loved it. then I took a nap, broke in on karaoke with my friend Tyrone. we had a blast, the karaoke was inside a closed room instead of an open bar like I'm used to, that was different. took some shots of Patron then got back home around 5am. not bad. as it were, its St. Patrick's day and I'm at work instead of the parade. but at least I am earning green. and wearing a green shirt too! a link to my speech: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B05zCjOTf3F9Z0pKNUk3QnhlYnM/edit?usp=sharing happy St. Patrick's day.

A breakthrough

Today I made a breakthrough in my quest for natural eyesight.   Returning from a failed job to Staten Island, my first time visiting, I discovered a    locked, overly tense muscle at the top of my neck. Putting pressure there, in order to cause it to involuntary release, helped a bit. Aside from the physical technique, I now phrase my intention differently. It is "remove the obstacles blocking my vision", whereas before it was "heal my vision on a physical level" and "restore me to 20/20 vision". The later appeal in particular didn't have a direct healing effect, although it did assist in becoming more vision, especially when I actually visualized the numbers, 20/20.    Dancing is likely playing a part as well.    I will continue the work.

life update

I'm getting better, slowly. the work consists mainly of uncovering blocks, and changing my mental attitude, specifically when it comes to money, but also in other areas, such women, and guilt. I have definitely improved in these areas, the second chakra stuff. there's actually a financial plan in place now, which helps me greatly to manage it. I've also been palming every day for the past month, just looking to get my eyesight back, and am finally taking the physical actions toward that. the next area to examine would be my work life, get that sorted out, as well as my living arrangements as well. I gave my fifth speech at Toastmasters, that was fun. the crowd loved it. that's about it for today's installment. please come back next time, when we will (likely) have a breakthrough.
